Appearance: Light, but toned, build with almost neck-length black hair and crimson eyes. Dresses in a short-sleeved black overcoat, dark blue or black shirt, forearm guards, segmented black pants and boots. Wears criss-crossed belts around his hips to carry his weapons while on the field. He has a single earring in his left ear with a small purple sphere hanging from his ear.

Owns a SeeD operative's uniform and instructor's uniform.

Personality: Oren is normally a very relaxed person, though not lenient in his classes, he is able to keep cool and to help his students enjoy their classes.

During missions, he keeps a cool head and thinks things through quickly and calmly. He very seldom acts rashly and is known for his ability to succeed in desperate situations.

History: Oren is an only child who grew up in Trabia, raised by his mother and father. At the age of 11, he was given the choice of enrolling in a Garden. He chose not to enroll in Trabia because though the pacifist views were good for ideal living, the combat training he would get from Balamb or Galbadia Garden were much better suited for the more practical approach in the world.

Oren enrolled in Balamb Garden due to it being closer than Galbadia and thus the travel expenses were cheaper. Once enrolled, he passed his classes and test with exemplary marks and attained SeeD rank at the age of 17. Shortly thereafter, he applied for a teaching position within Balamb Garden.

During his candidate years, he learned to specialize in the short, assassin-style blade and the gunblade types of weaponry. His weapons of choice are a pair of wakizashi blades, one of which is modified with gunblade attachments. The latter weapon is one he uses rarely though rumors among the students say that he only uses it if something dire is happening.

Weapon Name: Mobius (gunblade) and Shatter (unmodified)

Weapon Description: Mobius is a wakizashi blade the length of Oren's forearm that is serrated on the reverse edge with gunblade modifications made to it. The blade is wielded in the standard 'reverse grip' style with the trigger placed so that it can be pulled with the ring and/or pinky finger. Mobius is not used terribly often and when it is, is always wielded in Oren's right hand.

Shatter is the same serrated blade style wakizashi, but without gunblade modifications. Shatter is more commonly used by Oren, but is wielded most often in his left hand.
